If you allready like some of the photographs which are exhibited in the galleries, it's possible to order some fine art photographic prints.

Currently I'm able to send prints in most countries of Europe. Once I'll have received your request I'll check if a delivery to your country is possible, and then I'll let you know and send you an offer.

Shipping to North-America is available but there may be customs duty (I don't know) to pay off. Currently I'm studying a solution to have the photographs printed, framed and shipped from USA.

Currently I offer fine art prints on one high quality paper only.

Several display options are available.

Photographic prints are of course available in several sizes.

Furthermore, if you look for some prints of some place/topic/subject in particular, feel free to ask me if I can provide some, because not all my photographs are online yet. If it's the case I'll come back to you to make you a proposal. (Nevertheless I've nothing to offer with Torres del Paine NP or Perito Moreno glacier).

Types of prints

Paper in use

Currently I only offer prints on one museum grade photographic paper : the Hahnemühle Photo Rag baryta paper 315 gsm.

I made this choice because of the ability of ink prints on this paper to reproduce faithfully : fine details, very subtle shades, deep blacks, and of course : colours, contrast, etc.. Vibrancy and clarity of a print on this paper is really superior. Moreover ink prints longevity will be of several decades.

This paper by itself feels very high quality, its slightly textured surface make the prints even more beautiful.

Loose fine art ink prints

One option is to order loose prints and then have them framed by your local framer.

In this case, please note that when unpacked loose prints must be manipulated with extreme care prior to framing. They can easily be damaged (edges, corners, surfaces (with liquids, scratches, fingerprints)). It's usually highly recommended to take the prints directly to your local framer, even before unpackaging (because even rolling the loose prints again can be challenging).

On the other hand, loose prints benefit from an excellent protection during their shipping, however, if the package is damaged (twisted, bent, cut, etc.) please refuse its delivery and ask for its return to the sender, then tell me within 48 hours so that I can submit a claim to my fine art printer and have a new print shipped back to you as soon as possible (after inspection of the returned one).

Mounted fine art ink prints on a Dibond plate

I also offer prints mounted on slim, light, flat, stiff and resistant plates of Dibond.

These are assemblies of two aluminum plates which surround a black polyethylene one. Overall thickness is around 3 mm (1/8").

Dibond plates can be mounted :

  • either on an inside subframe (placed at 2" or 5 cm on the inside),

  • or on a border subframe (running along the edges of the Dibond plate),

  • or simply delivered with two steel hangers, or with nothing on their back.

Subframes are in aluminum (20x44 mm) and are 20 mm (0,8") thick.

Dibond is often the preferred choice of art galleries thanks to its design and numerous intrinsic qualities mentionned above.

Framed prints

Many types of display are available. You can choose between the following ones :

Several colours are available :

  • matte black, white, oak/maple wood, wenge/walnut wood - for most frames

  • matte or glossy black, white, brushed aluminum - for aluminum frames (the last one in the list)

Much more technical details about framed prints are given in this page.

If you need a specific final size for your order, please let me know.

Sizes of your prints

For each photograph in the galleries a value : "MAXRES", is mentioned.

MAXRES is a size recommended for a print of a given photograph. This is only a recommendation. In my opinion it is the size which will allow you to see a very good level of details 25 cm or 10 " away from the photograph, the punctum proximum for human vision (the least distance of distinct vision).
Of course bigger prints are possible (see below). It'll be then recommended to watch them from further.

Personally I've prints in 80 x 120 cm (32x48") of photographs with a recommended MAXRES value of 60 x 90 cm (24x36") and they look very fine from 70 cm (28") away, or further, of course.
